Error message giving runtime error in BADI

HI All,

I am trying a error message in BADI- BADI_MATN1.

How ever it gives runtime error saiyng that

No - MESSAGE E... statements are allowed either in conversion exists

for output conversion (performed by function modules called

CONVERSION_EXIT_xxxxx_OUTPUT).

Kindly guide.
