Work involve in changing from PI to HCI

HI all,

WE are currently considering using PI (be we have it) to integrate c4c with on-prem ecc but our bigger vision is to use hci. if we started with PI what would be the work required to change to hci down the road? Big effort or simple effort? I'd prefer to do things right at the beginning rather than do something quickly now and pay for it later..
