Error unit dimension for KF in Composite Provider

Hello Guys,

I am facing an issue while checking a composite provider in SAP BW on HANA system. I added few fields (including KFs) into the composite provider and a new DSO is connected to the CP as Left Outer Join. But when I tried to check the composite provider, then it is showing following error:

'Unit dimension required for key figure <KF_Name>'

Now when I tried to assign unit for the KF by clicking on 'change property' then the unit/currency part is disabled though I can make changes to the name and description part. (refer below screenshot).

Can anyone please suggest what exactly I am missing here? Any help is greatly appreciated.
