Add Item text to SO in outbound scenario

Hello All,

My requirement is to append some extra lines in the item text level for Sales Order while sending the Idoc to another system. Would you please advise how I can do this? Do I have to add both the segment types E1EDPT1 and E1EDPT2 for each line or shall I just append E1EDPT2 for each line to the existing E1EDPT1  ? What are the details I need to pass?
