Revoke a catalog role granted by another user

According to Prerequisites for Granting and Revoking Privileges and Roles - SAP HANA Administration Guide - SAP Library, the only way to revoke a runtime role is to be the user that granted the role. I'm surprised that even user granted ROLE ADMIN system privilege is not able to revoke the role. 

Is this correct, or is there actually a way to revoke a runtime role granted by another user?  If not, why was it implemented this way? I would consider it a limitation.
