Dear Experts,
We are configuring our ECC 6.0 system to store all of SAP Office document to DMS just to reduce the size of SOFFTCONT1.
We have followed in sandbox system.
1634908 - Reduce the size of table SOFFCONT1
We have tested the following scenarios:
1. Before doing any changes of repository category, we checked our SAP office document is view able.(which are already stored in ECC DB)
2. We change the storage repository category from SAP Database to DMS
3. New SAP Office files are now posted to DMS system which seem fine...
4. at this stage, we have disconnect the DMS system from ECC ( just remove the server IP from ECC system /etc/host, and also checked /nOAC0 the storage repository is not working)
5. Now we tried to create SAP Office document but we are getting error which is expected. But
6. The old files which are created and stored to DMS system are also view able!!!! which should not be because the connection to DMS is offline.
Is there any body who can help us to clear our doubt...
