I have installed Webi client tools - both 3.1 SP3 and 4.1 SP5 (side by side installation) on a Windows 8 laptop, Lenovo. I tested them, worked OK and then both Rich Client stopped working. They won't start - nothing appears in the task manager. Both are added to the list of allowed programs in Norton Internet Security. Windows Firewall is controlled by Norton. I have tried other tools, e.g. Universe Design Tool - works just fine.
Yes, I have tried rebooting.
Any suggestions? I've also got Spybot. It doesn't seem to be blocking anything.
