I am using the COPA user exit COPA0005 (FM: EXIT_SAPLKEII_001) to calculate the quantity in alternative unit of measure. I need to get quantity and batch information from the delivery document for the quantity calculation. But the delivery document number in not available in the input parameters passed to the function module; only sales order number is available. So I planned on getting the delivery document from VBFA (Sales Document Flow) table using the sales order number (as the link between billing document and delivery document is not established yet in VBFA when the user exit is being executed).
But, problem arises when there are multiple partial deliveries for the same sales order. In this case, its impossible to identify the delivery number for which billing document is currently being created.
Is there a way to get the delivery document into the COPA user exit function module - EXIT_SAPLKEII_001?
P.S - In know that the delivery # is available in the structure field XKOMFK-VBELN, but this field is out of context (or inactive) when the user-exit is executed
