Error when defining access context for custom BO

Dear community,

I have a custom BO with an association to the C4C standard BO "Customer" and a thing-based screen scenario including an OWL with custom DefaultSets based on a customer query on the BO including fields from the customer association.

Once this was finished, the customer asked for an access control on the custom BO.

So I added the [RelevantForAccessControl] annotation to the association, set the AccessContextCode on the view to 1015 Employee or Territory or Sales Data and made sure the OWL, TI, QC and QV have the Access Check Mode set to PriviledgedExceptAccessControlledBusinessObjects as well as the Authorization Classification Code to Application.

The activation of the UIs was successful, however, the activation of the BO gives me the following error:

Here's the definition of the association:

[RelevantForAccessControl] association ToCustomer to Customer;

The query was activated before I added the annotation and is used by the OWL.

How can I resolve this issue?
