Steps to use the same variables

Dear Experts,

Please guide me the step by step to use the existing variables for the given below 2 requirements.

Requirement 1:

I have a variable for Region in one existing report which is built on the cube: ZSM_CL. Now I want to use this Region variable in the new query which needs to built on another cube : ZSL_MSK and Region info object is available in this cube also.

Requirement 2 :

I have a variable for Code in one existing report which is built on the cube ZTM_KL. Now I have to create one more report based on the same cube: ZTM_KL and in this report , we have to use the variable for Code.  by step for the same.

Can you please suggest me the step by step.
