SMP 3.0 SP 8 - Issue while registering Hybrid app

Hi Experts,

We are trying to register a Hybrid application with SMP 3.0 SP8. The application is using Odata service to get data from back-end.

The registration is happing successfully if I chose the authentication mechanism as Anonymous.

However the registration is getting failed If I use the basic authentication.

Please advise me why the registration failing If I choose basic authentication.
