Any archiving solution on 2007?

Hi, we're using SAP B1 2007. Our company db has grown so big that database performance is getting much slower than it's used to be.

One proposed solution is to archive the old data, however looks like this is not provided/built-in in 2007.

So I'm just wondering if anybody has any knowledge of archiving solution for 2007?
