Stop Payroll for Absconding employees
Hi,
When employee salary is required to be stopped dues to employee absconding or due to disciplinary action, currently we are locking IT0003. Since return date of such guys is seldom known, these records are to be unlocked before Payroll is run.
At times this results in non payment to employee. Also in such cases, payroll runs into retro mode which is wrong as employee should not be paid for that period.
Which is the best solution to handle this situation?

how can I use type email in UI5 as a validation for an input field in XML. I checked SAPUI5 SDK - Demo Kit and see that sap.ui.model.type only has
BooleanThis class represents boolean simple types.
CurrencyThis class represents float simple types.
DateThis class represents date simple types.
DateTimeThis class represents datetime simple types.
FileSizeThis class represents file size simple types.
FloatThis class represents float simple types.
IntegerThis class represents integer simple types.

How to go ahead with HTML5 type such as email. I know I can write a validation in JS but is there any other way? or a readily available type.

User Profile Setting OS29 for BOM
Hi,
I want to know how OS29-User Profile for BOMs is works.
Since, In OS-29 i could not find my user name but still the settings maintained in OS29 in applied for User Name.
I know there is some step to activate the setting for all user but don't the steps. Pls guide me on this.
Also if i want OS29 setting specifically for my login what is step ? Do i need to update in user profile, pls explain in detail.

Can't do multiple Selection in Row or Column
Hello experts,
I write this time because we have a requirement where the customer wants to do multiple selection for columns. We are on BPC 10.1 Component CPMBPC 810, SP Level 0009.
The EPM is SP 17 Patch 2.
I followed the steps describe in the next link to do the multiselection to test by rows and then change it by column to see if it worked.

In the image above I show the 2 reports I created. In the first one I have HOTEL Dimension as Page axis, TIME as column and ACCOUNTS as rows.
In the second report I have TIME as Columns and HOTEL as Rows.
I want to have the possibility of multiselect the dimension members in HOTEL. I'm using the fórumla EPMDMIENSION Override as is shown in the image and try to Override the HOTEL for for Report 001.
Am I doing anything wrong? becaus it is not working.

Missing long text from Reference Operation Set
I'm setting up Reference Operation Sets, many having long text. When creating routings that utilize multiple reference operation sets, not all long texts are printing on the shop paper. Any ideas what I should check?

RFC not connecting from BI to ECC server

We are working now,RFC connection between from BI server to ECC server.But it's not connecting.
Because we got below error with attached this mail.we are using LINK also am attached here.
We found and trying information all below,

BW Source system showing old repositories after DS 4.2 upgrade
Hello all,
BODS source system which connected as a BW target showing the old repositories after DS 4.2 upgrade .
Steps:
Right CLick the source system in BW - > In the pop up for repository if i click F4 it shows old repositories name .
But the weird thing is sometime it shows new repositories name and few minutes later it shows the old repo name.
I dont know what is happeneing .

Can a blob field be included in a cross-tab in CR for Visual Studio
We are heavily using Cross-Tabs in the v13 SP17 CR Designer under Visual Studio. We have a blob field containing an image that we can easily place in the report, but appears to not be available in the field selector within the Cross-Tab Expert.
Is there a way to include a blob image field in a Cross-Tab?
I tried making the blob available through a formula, hoping that I could pick the formula within the "Cross-Tab Expert > Group Options... > Options > Customize Group Name > Use a Formula as Group Name", but when I try to create a formula with the blob field, it presents an error saying "A blob field cannot be used in a formula."
Is this just a limitation of CR Designer under VS.NET and maybe it's supported by the full CR Designer?

Can an EDI feed be set up for a MIGO transaction in SAP P1P ECC?
Disclaimer: I have very limited technical knowledge of how SAP P1P functions, as I am a daily user only. I need to find out if it is possible to set up an EDI feed which will post production (manual transaction as a MIGO 101 document). We already have the 940 and 945 docs set up for the shipping end.
Can anyone offer me any insight or point me in the right direction?

Proxy communication in dual stack
I am working in dual stack SAP PI.
I have a Proxy to SOAP scenario.
I have created two RFC Destinations.
RFC Destination Type G, SAP_PROXY_ESR with path prefix /rep
RFC Destination Type H, PI_AEX with path prefix /sap/xi/engine?type=entry
now in ID, I have Integrated Configuration which by passes the ABAP stack and also I have the Receiver Determination, INterface Determinatiin, Receiver agreement and sender agreement for the old ABAP stack
Now when I use Proxy, can I use sender SOAP channel with XI protocol like in Java stack.
Or should I not use any comminication channel like the old XI/PI configurations

SFDC to ECC integration issue
Hi Experts,
I am working on SFDC TO ECC Integration, and soap adapter for sales force side and receiver is IDOC (SOAP TO IDOC Scenario). I exposed a WSDL from Soap sender agreement and gave it to Sales force team .while importing wsdl from salesforce they are getting error as below
Error: Failed to parse wsdl: output not defined in binding operation http://XXXX
I have tested wsdl in SOAP UI and it is working fine, but salesforce team not able to upload the wsdl.
Is this normal SOAP to IDOC scenario or do i need to create session id , r any certificates to be installed?
I have gone through so many documents but i still get right solution
can any one please help me on this.
